SOME OFFENSIVE PLAY BY BTHC (Highlights)
The left IV and the number 6 are the most important players in the build-up.
There is a wide range of options for which side to build from (including Schleizer)
Solution:
High-Pressing and Support from the Second Line
When receiving a pass, move toward the outside; if necessary, run onto a back pass.
The midfielders and forwards here are somewhat weak in their finishing
OFFENSE
STRONG INDIVIDUAL PLAY
BTHC apparently has two strong and fast players from Ukraine on its roster—here is one of them.
Solution:
Measure and track speed

BTHC DEFENSIVE ZONE DEFENSE & PRESSING
Transition from pressing to the half-court
Large gaps because the player doesn't chase down the ball
Takeout:
Building patience, “letting them run until they’re tired”
Then, drive through the gap while increasing your pace (picture)
DEFENSIVE
BTHC DEFENSIVE ZONE COVERAGE
Stoic coverage of the court, minimal movement
Solution:
Patience and picking up the pace!
Gaps will open up, then a deep pass or shot
From contacts to Hot Box.
BTHC DEFENSIVE MAN-TO-MAN COVERAGE & PRESSING
The attacking team's movement here is primarily in the midfield
Poor startup response and lack of communication
Solution:
The midfield either starts off explosively or not at all—and leaves the outside lanes open!
AV: Move to the edge of the risk zone; upon receiving the pass: start running immediately and change lanes diagonally toward the center.
Forwards make explosive runs, etc.
Remember: Creating open space is important in man-to-man defense!
